An increase in Nashville's population has impacted condo demands

New data, released by the United States Census Bureau, suggests in just the last year alone, the population of Nashville has grown by some 100 people per day. This equates to an increase in population in the city by more than 36,000 during the course of a single year.

This population growth, some realtors say, has been fueled by the relocation of many popular companies' headquarters to the area. As for the name of one of those companies that has recently moved into the area? There's the tire-making giant Bridgestone. They've recently opened up their headquarters in Nashville.

Whether new residents have been moving into the area looking to strike it big on the country music scene or people coming here for their corporate jobs, realtors have seen increased demand for downtown Nashville condos. One area realtor notes that some of the more popular residences right now are master-planned ones like Berry Farms or Westhaven, both in Franklin, or lakeside ones like Foxland Harbor in Gallatin.

In talking with condo buyers, realtors are repeatedly hearing that they appreciate the ability to have close access to their jobs downtown. They appreciate the split commercial and residential environment that many of these communities offer. They also like living among what essentially amounts to being at ground zero for all that's happening in the city.

They also enjoy the idea of having a concierge service available 24 hours a day as well. And, in a city that houses many musicians that take to the road for months at a time, owning a condo gives them the comfort of knowing that their property is safe while they're away.

If you're in the process of purchasing a condo and you're looking for an attorney to assist with your closing, then you may benefit from the guidance a Maryville, Tennessee, attorney can provide in your legal matter.
